After breakfast, you will visit Yu Garden, renowned as the "Premier Garden of Southeast China," to admire the classical landscape of a Jiangnan garden in China. Originally constructed in the 38th year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1559 AD), Yu Garden boasts a history of over 460 years. It was initially built by Pan Yunduan, the provincial governor of Sichuan during the Ming Dynasty, as a private garden for his father's retirement. Strolling along the winding paths of Yu Garden, visitors can appreciate China's exquisite garden layout, magnificent classical architecture, and masterful craftsmanship in brick carving, stone sculpture, clay modeling, and wood carving. [Zhujiajiao]known as the "Venice of the East," it is the best-preserved ancient water town around Shanghai, renowned for its long history, rich cultural heritage, and picturesque Jiangnan water town scenery. It has also been rated as one of "China's 50 most worthwhile places for foreigners to visit."
